Memberships are 12-month contracts with a 3-month minimum term. Think of the first 3 months as your trial period.

Essence and Signature are our membership tiers. Essence gives you access to all our bags that are up to R50k retail value. Signature gives you everything in Essence and our bags above R50k retail value, limited editions and exotic pieces.

Yes. After the 3-month minimum, cancel or freeze at any time. No cancellation fee if you have completed the minimum term. Just give us 30 days notice and we'll take care of the rest.

Your membership rolls over month-to-month at the same rate. No action needed. You can cancel at any time with 30 days notice.

We have bags of various conditions. Some bags are in excellent condition and are effectively new, while others may have minor scratches or scuffs consistent with normal use. We will always be transparent about the condition of each bag in the collection, all bag photos are of the actual bags in the collection and include close-ups of any wear or imperfections. We will remove any bag from the collection that doesn't meet our quality standards.

We only add authentic bags to the collection. If we suspect a bag may not be authentic, we work with third-party authentication experts to verify the bag's provenance before adding it to the collection.

Kaya's collection includes bags from Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Christian Dior, Bottega Veneta, YSL (Saint Laurent), Gucci, Fendi, Prada, Celine and other luxury houses. We are always adding new bags to the collection across a range of brands, styles and conditions.

Let us know as soon as possible and we'll collect the bag. Cover for light wear and tear is included in your membership. Your damages deposit will be used to cover any damage beyond normal wear and tear. In the event of serious damage or loss that the damages deposit does not cover, we will charge you for the difference that may be up to the full replacement cost of the bag.

You get 2 borrows per month. Each borrow is a minimum of 2 weeks. When you're ready for a new bag, request a swap and we'll collect your current bag and deliver the next.

Yes. You can keep a bag for up to 2 months per borrow. If you love it, just don't swap and your bag stays with you.

Browse the collection in your member dashboard. Reserve the bag you want, and we'll deliver it once your current bag has been returned and our team has inspected and cleaned it. This usually takes about 2 business days from when your previous bag gets to us.

Kaya memberships start from R2499/month for the Essence tier. Signature is R4999/month and unlocks the premium collection with rarer and higher-value pieces. All memberships include insurance for light wear and tear and delivery and pickup for 2 borrows per month.

Kaya delivers across South Africa including Cape Town, Johannesburg, Pretoria, Durban and other major cities. All deliveries are handled by insured courier.

Yes. Kaya is South Africa's first designer handbag club. Members borrow authenticated designer handbags from brands like Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Dior and Bottega from a shared, rotating collection. Membership starts from R2,499/month with delivery to your door.

Yes. Kaya is South Africa's answer to international designer handbag clubs like Vivrelle and Cocoon. Based in Cape Town and Johannesburg with delivery across South Africa. Local ZAR pricing, no customs or import fees.
