Every bag arrives at your door and is collected when you're ready.
Rental costs covered
Everyday wear is on us. Your refundable security deposit covers cleaning, repair, late-return fees, and, in rare cases, replacement value. Refunded by EFT within 14 business days.
Up to two months
Keep a bag for up to two months, or swap sooner. The choice is yours.
Swap when you like
Return your bag and request the next one. A full cycle takes about nine days.

How does Kaya Club work?
Choose a membership tier, book the bag you want from the shared collection. We deliver it to your door. Let us know when you'd like a new one and we'll swap it for you.
What is a swap?
A swap is how you change bags on a membership. When you want a different bag, request the next one from the collection. We deliver it and collect the one you have. On Essence and Signature you can swap for your next bag when you like, one bag at a time.
How does delivery work?
Delivery and collection are included on every tier. We use insured courier across South Africa, with priority service in Cape Town, Johannesburg, Pretoria, and Durban.
What is the minimum membership term?
Essence and Signature run month to month with no minimum term and no cancellation fee (annual memberships run to the end of your paid year). On monthly billing, cancellation takes effect at the end of your next billing month, and you keep access until then. Prelude is pay per rental, so no commitment.
Are the handbags authentic?
Yes. Every bag is authenticated before it enters the collection. Wherever possible we source from the original owner, with the receipts and certificates, or from vetted resellers who supply authentication documentation. For anything else, we authenticate through Entrupy.
What's the difference between Essence and Signature?
Essence lets you rent one bag at a time from designer bags up to R50,000 retail, excluding bags reserved for Signature, swapping for your next bag when you like. Signature includes that plus limited editions, exotics, bags above R50,000, and the rare pieces reserved for Signature at any value. Both tiers can rent an extra bag at 30% off the Prelude rate.

Kaya is a members-only club, joined by application. We get to know every member before their first rental, so the shared wardrobe stays in great condition for everyone. We review each application and reply on WhatsApp within one business day.
Every bag is authenticated before it reaches you. We source from original owners or vetted resellers with the paperwork, and use Entrupy when it isn't available. How we authenticate
